How does the bathroom industry use social media for business?
Date Added: 19.02.2019
The world of social media is an exciting place, but it can also be a challenging one. How do you know which social media platforms will be right for your business? How many people will your posts reach? Should you be using social media to help promote your company and products?
We believe you should!
Our Ideal Industry Report 2018 discovered that 85% of bathroom retailers, merchants and multi-channel retailers we surveyed use social media for their businesses, which has increased by 12% over the last year.
The use of social media platforms within the bathroom industry is evolving and growing as more retailers begin to understand and appreciate how social media marketing can help to improve brand loyalty, build stronger customer relationships and provide an opportunity to boost sales.
Statistics from the Ideal Industry Report uncovered that there has been a decrease in the number of companies using Facebook as a professional platform for their business, going from 96% of those who use it, to 81%. This is not the only platform which has seen a decline in interest from the industry; Twitter use has fallen by 20%, which is quite surprising as this is widely seen as one of the key platforms for B2B communication.
However, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest have all risen up the ranks, increasing in popularity among bathroom retailers. 26% of our customers use the photo and video-sharing social network, Instagram, taking advantage of its billion-plus users who are active on the platform.
Social media networks are fantastic tools to help increase website traffic, provide the ideal platform to engage with your audience and even establish your brand as an industry thought leader.
