Quiet Please! Salamander are reducing the noise
Date Added: 12.06.2018
Modern living can be a noisy business, whether it’s mobile ringtones, loud traffic or other people’s choice of music assaulting our ears. We all want to reduce noise pollution, especially in our homes.
Salamander Pumps know that noisy pumps are a big ‘no no’ for householders, and that when installers and consumers are choosing a pump, noise is very much a deciding factor. So they’ve invested a lot of our time into reducing noise in our range of shower and whole house pumps.
Salamander recently had all their pumps independently tested against competitor's products by the UK’s leading acoustic test and calibration specialist, the University of Salford, so you don’t just have to take their word for it.
They’re proud to say they came out really well, with the majority of the range sitting somewhere between the sound of gentle rainfall and a quiet kettle on the boil. From as low as 42dBA.
Pump noise levels have been slashed by 15% in the last five years – that’s quite an achievement.
As a result of this hard work Salamander are pleased to confirm that CT Xtra, CT Force, the new Right Pump Range and HomeBoost mains water pump have all achieved the Quiet Mark award, making them some of the quietest pumps in their class.
Salamnder can’t promise you that the shower pumps will be silent, but they can say they are some of the quietest on the market. And that’s a fact.
