Showerwall new branding and game-changing new product range now available
Date Added: 11.04.2018
Showerwall has officially launched its new branding and comprehensive new product range of ‘naturally inspired surfaces delivered through a smart waterproof system’ and delivering the industry’s first synchronised texture and Proclick installation technology for a seamless finish.
The new range offers a spectrum of 66 designs; the largest choice on the market, which are grouped into five main collections: Marble (14), Quarry (14), Mineral (15), Acrylic (8) and Custom standard or bespoke digital printed options (15). Overall, there are 33 brand new designs.
Trends, textures and technology are key words behind the expansive new collection which elevates bathroom panelling to another level as a surfacing material that’s ideal for use in shower enclosures, around baths, behind basins and to create statement feature walls in domestic and commercial environments.
Design-wise, the range caters for all trends and tastes from luxuriously veined marbles, to earthy stones and shimmering quartz, and from sleek glass-like acrylics to custom-printed designs.
There are five surface textures in gloss, matte, texture, synchro and acrylics each delivering premium aesthetics and performance, while complementing the design for which it has been carefully selected. The Synchro texture is a unique innovation for Showerwall and harnesses in-line printing technology to create a perfectly synchronised decor in Lighting Marble which achieves a realism in marble like never before.
Says Steph Harris, product manager:
“Our Lightning Marble design features the same in-line embossed printing technology which has revolutionised the flooring industry. Through it we can combine natural looking aesthetics with the high performance of a man-made material and I am confident that this technology is going to play a significant role in further advancing the market acceptance of bathroom wall panelling as it produces greater levels of visual and tactile authenticity.”
Acrylics are a new product stream offering a palette of bold, neutral and metallic plain colours in a sleek glass-like finish. Manufactured from 4mm acrylic, the material requires no trims as it is inherently waterproof. Panels are available in 900mm and 1220m x 2440mm.
Another Showerwall innovation is the Proclick installation technology which mechanically locks the panels together providing seamless, almost invisible joints and eliminating the need for joining trims between panels. Proclick is available on two panel sizes of 600mm and 1200mm x 2440mm, while standard square-cut panels are offered in 900mm and 1200mm x 2440mm, all assuring high performance, easy maintenance and fast installation.
Showerwall is a 100% waterproof system achieved using minimal trims and the purpose-designed Sureseal system at the base of the panel. Showerwall is backed by a 15 year guarantee when installed according to manufacturer’s instructions.
The new clear-cut branding is highly distinctive and features on the re-designed retailer merchandising package. This includes a 60 page consumer lifestyle brochure, sample swatches and display stands with full range to view samples in a large format.
Says John Bagshaw, managing director for Showerwall:
“We are extremely positive about Showerwall’s brand overhaul and the new design collections we launched at KBB, following months of extensive research and development. Bathroom panelling is a category that’s showing positive year on year on growth and is now seriously regarded as a challenger to tiles which have historically dominated because there was no credible alternative.”
He continues:
“Showerwall has had a root and branch review and we have used our expertise and access to surface materials to create a range that is totally aligned with the practical and aesthetic needs of the bathroom market. The new range embraces innovation, technology and trend-led finishes that will bring new impetus to this sector.”
