Date Added: 11.09.2024
Based in Northamptonshire, Hevey is a builders merchant primarily offering building materials, however, the Kettering branch has been the hub for their Kitchen design services. Recently, they have branched out into the bathroom sector, allowing their customers to have a 1-stop-shop for all of their home improvement needs!
We spoke to Jessica, their Showroom Manager in Kettering, about her experiences fitting their new bathroom showroom:
Q. Why did you choose the Kinewall panels for your showroom?
“We chose Kinewall for our displays as we loved the variety of patterns they have to choose from, there’s something for everyone! We’ve found so far that our customers particularly love the vertical wood design and the black and copper marble panels.”
Q. How did your team find fitting the Kinewall panels?
“Our fitter Graeme did an amazing job installing these, especially with matching the patterns up on the corners and it’s something everyone points out! We were also impressed with the magnetic jointing strips, meaning there isn’t a need for a joining profile to break the pattern up.”
Q. What other brands do you feature in your showroom?
“We’ve chosen Scudo products for the majority of our displays, we found them to be competitive on price and liked that there was such a good selection of products that our customers could shop from one brochure, giving them a more effortless experience when choosing their bathroom. I also like that there’s some really unique pieces to choose from, which I feel are on trend in the current market especially the fluted glass for the shower panels.
We also have one of the new Harrogate vanity units on display which is stunning so overall we’ve got a good mix, we’ve also made sure we have taps in every colour to show all the options customers can choose from as well as pairing with matching accessories such as toilet roll holders.”
Q. Which display is your favourite and why?
“Personally, my favourite display is the Alfie vanity unit and fluted glass from Scudo, I’m obsessed with the brass accessories! I just think they’re so stylish and timeless. The idea for this bay was for it to look like something that you’d find on Pinterest #bathroomgoals!
Customers, particularly the younger generation make their choices purely based on the aesthetic in terms of colours and finishes for that social media wow factor and this bay fits in with that perfectly, a bathroom isn’t just a sink and a toilet anymore it’s a place where customers can create their own little haven.”
