We would like to extend our best wishes to you during this unprecedented time and hope you and your families are keeping safe and well.
As you are aware since hitting pause on the 27th March we have been closely monitoring government advice to enable us to make an informed decision as to when it is right for Ideal Bathrooms to begin trading again.
Our sector plays a vital role in stimulating the economy and we recognise that many merchant/trade customers are now increasing their activity levels and so, following the guidelines and having implemented social distancing measures at all of our premises, we are now able to confirm we will be reopening the business on Monday 4th May. Our number 1 priority remains the safety, wellbeing and health of our employees, therefore whilst we have decided to reopen, this will be done in phases to protect our workforce.
Customer Service
From Monday 4th May, the sales office will be operational again and the phone lines will be open Monday-Friday, between 8am-5pm. We will continue to be closed on Saturdays for the foreseeable future.?
The credit services team continue to be available and are working remotely but can be reached by either calling 01908 276400 or emailing [email protected] to assist with any account queries or facilitate payments.
Please note, we will have a limited workforce on site, so please bear with us and as always we will endeavour to answer your calls as quickly as possible.
Deliveries
Deliveries will be resuming from Tuesday 5th May for all accounts with a non credit-held status. We are running a reduced delivery service to allow for us to adhere to strict safety guidelines. Please assist our drivers in respecting social distancing measures when we deliver to your premises.
At the point of order, you will be advised of the delivery date of the goods, however please be aware this could be subject to change. Our delivery service will be monitored daily and we will keep you informed with any updates.
If you would prefer to ‘click and collect from depot’ you must advise us of this at point of order, and you must adhere to our strict social distancing policy when on site.
If you have an outstanding order with us, you will be contacted by a member of the IB team w/c 4th May, with deliveries currently outstanding estimated to be fulfilled by the 12th May.
External Sales Team
As you would expect we still have a number of staff furloughed during these challenging times and this includes at this time the external sales team. Please ensure all enquiries are directed to the sales office to ensure your queries are dealt with promptly.
